La moyenne continentale sur un score maximal de 1 est de 0,5144 et les trois pays les plus industrialis\u00e9s du continent sont l\u2019Afrique du Sud, le Maroc et l\u2019Egypte.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">La Banque africaine de d\u00e9veloppement (BAD) a publi\u00e9 son <a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.afdb.org\/fr\/documents\/indice-2022-de-lindustrialisation-en-afrique\">classement des \u00e9conomies les plus industrialis\u00e9es d\u2019Afrique<\/a> (IIA). Celui-ci se base sur des donn\u00e9es collect\u00e9es depuis 2010 dans 52 pays du continent \u00e0 l\u2019exception du Soudan du Sud et de la Somalie.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Selon le rapport, la plupart des pays africains progressent dans leur d\u00e9veloppement industriel, bien que cela se d\u00e9roule plus ou moins lentement. Avec un score de 0,84 sur 1 en 2021, l\u2019Afrique du Sud reste le pays africain le plus industrialis\u00e9, suivi par le Maroc (0,83) et l\u2019Egypte (0,78), tandis que le top 3 des \u00e9conomies les moins industrialis\u00e9es du continent est compos\u00e9 de la Gambie (0,3455), du Burundi (0,3483) et de la Guin\u00e9e-Bissau (0,3663).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Sur la base des donn\u00e9es collect\u00e9es l\u2019ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re par la BAD, 10 pays se situent dans le quintile sup\u00e9rieur du classement des \u00e9conomies les plus industrialis\u00e9es du continent, avec un score sup\u00e9rieur ou \u00e9gal \u00e0 0,6 sur 1. 11 d\u2019entre eux font partie du quintile moyen sup\u00e9rieur (entre 0,538 et 0,597)\u00a0; 10, du quintile moyen (entre 0,50 et 0,53), tandis que 10 d\u2019entre eux font partie du quintile moyen inf\u00e9rieur (entre 0,45 et 0,49). Elle est suivie par l\u2019Afrique australe, l\u2019Afrique centrale, puis par l\u2019Afrique de l\u2019Ouest et de l\u2019Est.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00ab\u00a0L\u2019IIA r\u00e9v\u00e8le que des foyers d\u2019industrialisation apparaissent dans toute l\u2019Afrique et qu\u2019un certain nombre de pays accomplissent des progr\u00e8s constants dans la mise en place des \u00e9l\u00e9ments essentiels \u00e0 la transformation industrielle. Toutefois, d\u2019une mani\u00e8re g\u00e9n\u00e9rale, le rythme du d\u00e9veloppement industriel demeure trop lent. Les emplois ne sont pas cr\u00e9\u00e9s au rythme requis pour satisfaire les besoins d\u2019une population en pleine croissance et permettre aux pays de tirer parti du dividende d\u00e9mographique qui en r\u00e9sulte\u00a0\u00bb, souligne la BAD. Pour acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer les progr\u00e8s d\u00e9j\u00e0 en cours, elle appelle les pays africains \u00e0 adopter \u00ab\u00a0des politiques industrielles plus proactives pour favoriser la croissance dans les secteurs les plus prometteurs\u00a0\u00bb et \u00e0 revoir \u00e0 la hausse leurs ambitions en mati\u00e8re de d\u00e9veloppement industriel.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Pour rappel, l\u2019IIA se base sur trois dimensions pour classer les \u00e9conomies. Il s\u2019agit de la performance, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire la capacit\u00e9 des pays africains \u00e0 g\u00e9n\u00e9rer une production manufacturi\u00e8re et des exportations\u00a0; les d\u00e9terminants directs, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire la mani\u00e8re dont les pays orientent leurs ressources (capital et main-d\u2019\u0153uvre) vers le d\u00e9veloppement industriel\u00a0; et les d\u00e9terminants indirects, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire la mani\u00e8re dont ils cr\u00e9ent un environnement favorable \u00e0 l\u2019industrialisation, notamment \u00e0 travers la stabilit\u00e9 macro\u00e9conomique, la solidit\u00e9 des institutions et l\u2019\u00e9quipement en infrastructures.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Le regroupement des pays par quintile (sup\u00e9rieur, moyen sup\u00e9rieur, moyen, moyen inf\u00e9rieur et inf\u00e9rieur) permet d\u2019identifier les similitudes, les forces et les faiblesses de chaque
